Introduction to the Student Life Assistance Division

The Student Life Assistance Division is led by a Division Chief, whose office is located in Room A112a, 1st Floor, Administration Building. Five designated staff members are in charge of the administrative affairs related to students’ life assistance. An additional five staff members are in charge of the administration of two student dormitories. 24-hour reception desk personnel are arranged to provide services for dormitory residents.

• Student Leave Management.

• Management of students’ rewards/disciplinary measures and conduct performance.

• Affairs related to Student Group Insurance.

• Affairs related to payments for part-time student workers.

• Affairs related to the awarding of scholarships and grants for students.

• Affairs related to student loans.

• Affairs related to students’ Labor Service Card.

• Affairs related to the mentor system.

• Holding student leaders’ communication workshops.

• Providing assistance for students’ accommodation.

• Providing life assistance for overseas Chinese students.

• Providing life assistance for Mainland China students in degree programs.

• Handling of students’ sexual harassment prevention cases.

• Affairs related to the promotion and advocacy of intellectual property rights, morality, legal education, etc.
